How to handle classes

Each competition class runs a course. This allows you to create multiple classes running the same course.

Class data can be shown and edited in the Classes spreadsheet, which you open by using the View / Class Spreadsheet menu.

Here, you can create a new class, edit an existing class and delete an existing class.

Class

A Class is a description of a class of competitors at the event. 
A Class is defined by a name (e.g. "M 21 A"). 
A class runs a Course. 

You can enter an (estimated) number of competitors for the class.  This number can be used to calculate the number of competitors that will visit each control site (competitors load).

The Classes Spreadsheet  (in the View menu)  is where you manipulate information about classes.
Course

A Course is a sequence of controls (defined by their control numbers).  The course is defined by a name (e.g. "Course 1").  A course must have a Start Point and a Finish Point.
