Printing both forks on one map with normal numbering

Posted by Clem
Hello,

We are doing a race that has a single forked control. Competitors can pick either the left or right fork, and both should be indicated on the map. In other words numbering goes 1,2,3,4,5,6,(L7, R7),8,9...

On the map, we want two normal number 7s, with lines diverging from 6 and reconvening at 8.

The "all variations" view does almost what we need, however, instead of showing control numbers, it shows control codes.

Is there any work-around?

Thanks!

Hello Clem,

The reason for using control codes in the "all variations" view is that a slightly more complex fork setup than yours would make numbering somewhat confusing.

There is a workaround -- although not very elegant -- you can drag the control codes out of the map and create text objects that has the control numbers.

Regards,
Finn
