How to overprint courses with a printer
Previous Topic  Next Topic

Condes can print course layouts on almost any printer.  Therefore, Condes can be used with a printer to overprint course layouts on competition maps.

Additionally, Condes has built-in support for pen plotters compatible with the HPGL command language.

This is what you need to do to prepare for course printing or plotting:

  1. First you need to design your courses.  Use the Course Layout Editor to do this.
  2. Do not forget to place at least two registration marks on the course layout so that you can calibrate the map with the printer or the plotter.
  3. To print courses on an ink printer, use the menu Print - Overprint courses.  A print dialog appears.  Follow the instructions here.
  4. To plot courses on a pen plotter, use the menu Print - Plot course layouts.  A plot dialog appears.  Follow the instructions here.   IMPORTANT: Read this information about how to connect a plotter to your PC.
